Worship is at the heart of who we are at First Church. Our worship services and music are traditional with a warm, welcoming feel. Services include lay persons reading scripture and helping with Communion. We also have a brief Children's Time during our 10:45 worship. Our music ministry features instrumentalists from the community, soloists, First Church choirs, guest choirs and piano/organ duets.
Our 8:30 a.m. service is held in West Vestry and is a more casual service, whereas the 10:45 a.m. service is held in the Sanctuary and is more traditional. Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m., with classes for both children and adults, or you may visit with friends and guests at our Coffee Hour at 9:30 a.m. in West Vestry.
An active verb, instead of a noun.
What if church wasnt just a building but thousands of doors.
Each of them opening to a different concept or experience of church.
So that whoever knocks might find a journey to call their own.
