Vaughans Printers, Inc. is a now in its third generation. In 1927, Bryon Vaughan started Vaughans Printers in Blue Hill, Nebraska as a commercial printing operation. He did this in conjunction with printing and publishing the Blue Hill Leader. Bryon’s two sons, William and Thomas, learned the printing business as young boys. After serving in the military, William B. and Thomas took over the business. They ran the commercial printing business out of the Blue Hill Leader office until 1958 when they moved to Hastings. William R. Vaughan is the current manager of the business. He is the son of William B. Vaughan.
The first office in Hastings was located at 526 West 3rd Street. Vaughans Printers remained at this location until 1966 when the growing business was moved to 1601 West Second Street. In 1971 the business moved to our current location at 222 East Side Boulevard.
