Company History

We are a small general contracting and construction company, with a BIG reputation for building specifically to your design, or customizing a pre-engineered metal building to fit your needs.
Our reputation in North-Eastern Nebraska is very strong, and we are proud of the quality work that we do.
Crafts Incorporated started in 1970 as Crafts Construction, a general contracting company, working on commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the years primarily in Nebraska, although we have done a substantial amount of work in South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.
In 1973, Crafts officially incorporated the company using our current name of Crafts, Inc. designing and erecting VP Buildings (Varco-Pruden), along with a myriad of other general construction projects. In 1980, we merged with Simpson Structures Inc., which has been a 5-State area leader in erecting Pre-engineered Metal Buildings, working with Star Building Systems since the mid 1960's.
The beneficial merger resulted in the successful company that remains today, offering an exceptional range of general contracting services available to our customers.

Most people think of metal buildings such as storage buildings with plain metal walls, roofs, etc. for industrial or farm use and believe they just wouldn't work for what they need.
Well perhaps that kind isn't what you need or want, BUT Pre-engineered Metal Buildings can be designed, customized, and insulated to fit any application, like upscale office buildings, stores, malls, with nearly limitless possibilities to what can be done.
Pre-engineered metal buildings have continued to evolve since the 1970's, when we got started.
