for as long as we can.
Adopted from the personal mission statement of Abundant Life Hospice, CEO, Teresa R. Sanderson.

Abundant Life Hospice is Christ-centered and faith-based, and our approach to care is non-invasive and non-intrusive. The primary goal of our ministry is to allow normal family life to continue for as long as possible. All of our team members are committed to service and model their personal contributions to the caring ministry after the greatest servant leader, Jesus Christ.
When asked how many patients the hospice would like to serve, Teresa Sanderson, RN and CEO, always responds with the same answer: "We will grow to meet the needs of our community. As we need to, we will add more team members to care for those we serve, because we will not limit how far Christ's arms can reach."

We began our caring ministry on March 1, 2004. What originally started as a small family business, Abundant Life Hospice has since become the predominant end-of-life care provider in Rural North East Kansas and South East Nebraska.
The rapid growth of the hospice is due in large part to the extensive work in community outreach and community education. Our staff maintains a heavy speaking and healthcare provider education schedule to enhance the end-of-life care knowledge base of rural Midwesterners and their healthcare providers.
