To remove black mold from your house, place it in several thick plastic bags. Try not to transport the bags through the house or you may recontaminate the area. If possible, toss the bags through a window or another opening of the house. These bags have contaminated materials and should be taken straight to a landfill.

Thoroughly dry the room afterwards and fix any leaks that may be causing the area to retain moisture. If there are any mold particles left on the walls, the problem will only return after they have been exposed to moisture. If the problem resurfaces, you may want to consult professional help for an extensive investigation.
